Nepal is much more than its majestic Himalayan mountains. While the Himalayas remain one of the country's greatest attractions, Nepal also offers an extraordinary combination of ancient culture, diverse communities, wildlife, traditional cuisine, and beautiful landscapes.
The 10 Days in Nepal Tour by Nyindha Adventures is designed to introduce travellers to three of Nepal's most fascinating destinations: Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara.
The journey begins in Kathmandu, where you will discover historic temples, ancient cities, and distinctive Newari architecture. From there, travel to Chitwan through scenic highway routes and enjoy jungle safaris, canoeing, Tharu cultural experiences, and peaceful riverside landscapes.
The tour continues to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Here, you can explore waterfalls, temples, viewpoints, museums, and traditional marketplaces before returning to Kathmandu for further sightseeing and your departure.
Throughout the journey, you will encounter different communities, regional dishes, cultural traditions, and architectural styles. Nyindha Adventures can also accommodate selected personal preferences and itinerary adjustments, subject to time, accessibility, and local conditions.
Your 10 Days in Nepal Tour begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. During your flight, you may enjoy aerial views of the Himalayan region, depending on the route and weather conditions. After landing, you will proceed through immigration and collect your luggage. Nepal offers visa-on-arrival facilities to eligible travellers from many countries. You can either complete the application process at the airport or apply online before your arrival through the official immigration website.
If you apply online, you may receive a visa application barcode that should be printed and carried with you. Travellers applying at the airport will need to complete the relevant form, pay the applicable visa fee, and submit the required documentation.
The airport can become busy during peak travel seasons, so travellers should allow sufficient time for immigration and visa processing.
After completing the formalities, our representative will welcome you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. The drive to your accommodation generally takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic and location.
You will have time to rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
After breakfast, you will begin the day with a visit to Nagarkot, a popular hilltop destination approximately 32 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu.
Nagarkot is known for its panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the Kathmandu Valley. It is especially popular for sunrise views, when the mountain scenery may be illuminated by the early morning light, depending on weather conditions.
The drive generally passes through Bhaktapur before continuing along the Araniko Highway and Nagarkot Road. The journey may take up to two hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Private transportation will be arranged for the tour. A short hiking option may also be discussed, although most of the journey to the viewpoint is completed by vehicle.
From Nagarkot, you may be able to see Himalayan peaks such as Langtang, Manaslu, Dorje Lakpa, and other mountain ranges, depending on visibility.
After exploring Nagarkot, return towards Kathmandu Valley. The combined journey and sightseeing programme may take approximately five hours.
In Kathmandu, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of Nepal's most important Buddhist monuments and a major centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture.
The stupa is recognised for its enormous mandala structure, white dome, prayer flags, and surrounding monasteries and shops. Visitors can walk around the stupa, observe religious practices, and explore the local shops offering handicrafts, prayer items, jewellery, and traditional products.
The area is also associated with important Buddhist celebrations, including Losar and Buddha Jayanti.
